I enjoyed photography in high school but I never thought I could do photography full time, so I enrolled my first year of college to become a high school math teacher. (Crazy right?!) Like most college students I changed my major. I graduated with a degree in Digital Media and Design and after college I set out in the real world with a graphic design job everything I thought I wanted.
While working I saw an opportunity for a wedding photographer assistant. Wedding photography is something I always wanted to do and I decided to take a risk. It was one of the best decision I have ever made. After the next three years I learned everything there was about what it means and takes to be a wedding photographer and then I set out starting my own business. I've got to spend the past 5 years being able to capture not just the most precious moments of couples as they start their life together but also of their families.
Even with everything I learned and the years of experience I couldn't have taken this next step without my wonderful husband who encouraged me to live out my dream.
MY FIRST YEAR OF COLLEGE I WAS ORIGINALLY A MATH MAJOR! (SERIOUSLY!)
FUN LITTLE FACTS
Anyone who knows me, knows I can’t do anything without my morning cup of coffee. I have wallet full of Starbucks gift cards on hand just in case I need a pick-me-up in the afternoon. To have coffee you have to have a crazy amount of cute coffee cups to go with them!
In a digital world there is still something meaningful about writing it down. Whether i'm jotting down business goals and ideas, or making a personal to-do list, cute notebooks make everything a lot prettier. Home goods always have some of best designs!
One thing I am not good at is cooking but baking I can do. Cookies, cakes and brownies but cupcakes are my favorite to make and decorate.
One way to brighten up a room with is with a beautiful arrangement of flowers. My favorite is fluffy pink peonies.
